In 2017, I worked with Sevag Chanchanian to create custom projection mapped stage visual animations for the annual Deschutes Brewery Halloween party that takes place in Bend, Oregon. The projection screens, shaped like three pyramids, were custom fabricated.
The creative brief requested we design our thematic visuals around alien conspiracy themes. I rendered three scenes, using a custom mask for final output renders: a tunnel into Area 51's secrets, an alien surgery laboratory, and an ancient alien ritual.
On site, we used TouchDesigner running into a Christie 10k projector to cover the three pyramids, using additional overhead throw to run an animated galaxy on the ceiling all night.
